Revive! UK are excited by the prospects of an untapped market recently revealed

Leading SMART Repairs provider Revive! UK are said to be extremely excited at the extent of future market opportunities recently revealed by Car Paint Colours UK survey results.

Shocking statistics from a recent survey by touch up paint supplier Car Paint Colours UK has revealed that an astounding 88% of people are unaware of the cost savings and benefits that a Mobile SMART repair provides over a body shop repair.

UK commented, “These statistics have brought to light that despite the massive growth of Revive! since SMART repairs were first introduced to the UK in 1994, the general public are still unaware of our presence in the industry and the benefits we can provide during an overly upsetting time for them.”

It is indeed common for many SMART repairs to be distress purchases following collisions or accidents that may not have been the driver’s fault. Revive! UK offers a mobile service for minor bodywork repairs including bumper scuffs, panel damage, paint scratches, small dents and even alloy wheel damage including diamond cut and specialist finishes.

According to the survey produced by YouGov the main reason behind drivers’ reluctance to have paintwork damage repaired is due to either cost or convenience. 53% of respondents said that repairing small paint work damage on their car is too expensive while 25% say it’s an inconvenience to repair small paintwork imperfections. Surprisingly, 16% of survey respondents simply didn’t even know where to get their car repaired in the event of minor paint damage.

“This untapped market shows the truly extraordinary growth possibilities of Revive! UK. In 30 years of SMART repairs in this country we have barely scratched the surface of the potential market. Revive! UK have set a target of hitting £28m by 2028, knowing the vast majority of general consumers are still unaware of our presence means we have the opportunity to blow this industry wide open and smash our targets to pieces,” concluded Mark.

It is surprising that the excessive costs of body shops and the surprising lengths they go to to carry out a repair hasn’t led to an increase in SMART repair awareness Body shops will often opt to respray entire panels to perform a repair due to its ease once the panel has been removed from the vehicle. However, this excessive work simply increases the cost to the driver, adding the removal of the panel and additional painting costs to the driver’s bill.

A SMART repair will only focus on the area requiring the repair, blending the new paint into the existing paint providing an imperceptible colour match. This not only doesn’t require the panel to be removed from the vehicle, but also reduces the overall cost of the repair focusing only on the necessary areas.
