Podium Pandemonium for Andrew Jordan at the Goodwood Revival!
It was a busy weekend for Revive! sponsored racing driver Andrew Jordan as he took to the track in a range of classic racing cars for the prestigious Goodwood Revival (no affiliation) taking part in a number of races across the weekend Jordan found himself on the podium for two of them, including the St Mary’s Trophy: Race 1 and the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy.
St Mary’s Trophy: Race 1
In his first race of the weekend as part of the St Mary’s Trophy, Jordan was behind the wheel of a tastefully restored Austin A40 which was on the front row of the grid alongside the much larger competition of a Jaguar Mk1 and Ford Fairlane. Andrew achieved an amazing start leaving the Fairlane trailing behind him and fighting into the first corner alongside the British Jag, driven by former BTCC rival Gordon Shedden.
Jordon and Shedden battled it out throughout the first few laps with the Jaguar powering away on the straights but Jordan managing to reel him in on the corners thanks to the Austins superior handling, and no doubt aided by Jordan’s Mini Miglia experience. Jordan was caught by the pole sitter Ford Fairlane of Steve Soper on the second lap and lost the position to the mighty American V8, which then went on to take the lead in the third lap.
As the race progressed Jordan found himself in arguably the highlight battle of the race as he attempted to not only get past the Jaguar of Shedden but also defend his position from Tom Ingram in another Austin A40 who had rapidly come up behind him. On the 11th lap of the race Jordan finally squeezed past Shedden with Ingram close on his tail leading to Shedden dropping behind the pair of tiny Austins.
With just 5 minutes left of the race Jordan was firmly in third place with the two Americans far out of reach with a 17-second lead ahead of him. Jordan only had to hold off Tom Ingram in the rival A40. A task he was familiar with from his Mini racing, Jordan battled his way to the finish line in a comfortable 3rd place.

Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy
The 2025 running of the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy was certainly an exciting one, with a field of some of the most beautiful racing cars in the world including Ferrari 250s, Jaguar E-Types, AC Cobras, Aston Martin DB4s and Austin Healey 3000s, Andrew Jordan would be racing in the second leg of the race taking over from his teammate Matt Hulme in a race-prepped AC Cobra.
After a red flag in the early laps of the race, Matt Holme had a painfully slow restart and dropped from the front of the grid to 5th with E-Types and Cobras all pulling away from him. He did manage to pull back into third place overtaking first Gregor Fisken in a Cobra and then John Young in a Jaguar E-Type. Following a massive fuel leak to a second E-Type ahead of him, Holme moved into 2nd place. At the 23-minute mark both first and second place cars came into the pits for their driver change which saw Revive! driver Andrew Jordan take to the wheel of the second place Cobra and give chase to the leading E-Type being driven by Chris Ward.
Jordan was chomping at the bit to make up time on the lead car pushing the 60s Cobra to its limits to make up the 5 second gap, with the tail happy V8 roaring its approval to Jordan’s heavy right foot. Setting multiple fastest laps in his chase for victory Jordan quickly gained time on the leader as the E-Type struggled with back marker traffic, cutting the gap to less than 3 seconds. On lap 17 however it all went wrong for Jordan as the rain started to fall. Jordan’s Cobra pushed wide on the exit of a corner which led to Jordan taking a slide on the grass and losing significant time with just 8 minutes left of the race to get back into the battle for first place.
Going wide only drove Jordans determination further though, with him making up time rapidly. While the rain was slowing both cars it was effecting the E-Type more as the rear of the car kept stepping out as soon as Ward put the power down. With less than 5 minutes to go, Jordan had made up all the time he had lost on the grass and was hot on the heels of the leading E-Type.
The race came to a shocking conclusion however, as the pair of drivers were about to go onto the final lap in what was set to be a thrilling final battle. Chris Ward waved Jordan through to take the lead, before pulling off the track at the end of the pit straight due to a mechanical problem. This left Andrew Jordan to take one final victory lap before crossing the line.
