Andrew Jordan set to return to Donington Park in season opener of Mini Se7en Challenge

Revive! sponsored driver, Andrew Jordan is set to make his return to Donington Park this weekend for the opening two rounds of the Dunlop Mini Se7en Challenge alongside his brother Bradley.

For the first two rounds of the 2024 season, Andrew will be competing in the fully Revive! liveried Mini Se7en racer sporting a 1000cc four-cylinder engine as determined by the championship regulations. The car features skinny road style tyres making the racing tight and competitive with everyone struggling for grip. Additionally, the team have managed to shed an extra 12kg off the cars weight to ensure optimum performance through the famous Craner Curves of Donington.

Andrew would normally be competing in the Dunlop Mini Miglia Challenge, however due to issues with his car he will be taking his dads place on the grid for the lower championship.

The Jordan family will also be looking for success from Bradley, Andrew’s younger brother, who will be competing in the Dunlop M7 S-Class Challenge which will see 1275cc Minis compete for superiority. But don’t think these tiny engined go-karts are slow, with 0-60 times of just over 6.6 seconds and top speeds in excess of 110mph, these pocket rockets can compete with the best of them providing some thoroughly exciting racing round the UKs favourite circuits.

Revive! UK have supported Andrew Jordan for 12 years now, from the highest of highs such as his 2013 victory in the British Touring Car Championship to the lows of having to step away from the BTCC in 2020 due to complications of the Covid19 pandemic. Revive! are excited to continue this partnership with the Jordan family and promote them through their 2024 Mini challenge competitions. Here’s hoping for more silverware to show off in the trophy cabinet.

Mark Llewelyn, Managing Director of Revive! UK commented: “The start of a new season is always an exciting time here at Revive! Andrew is an extremely talented driver who we have had the pleasure of supporting for more than a decade. We look forward to celebrating more victories across the next 17 rounds of hard-fought racing.”
