UK’s Leading Vehicle Paint Repairer Answers SOS Call
When directors at Revive! UK heard that the charity Save Our Soldier (SOS) needed to convert a caravan to become its first mobile coaching unit they stepped in and offered to do it up free of charge.
It took technicians at Revive! head office workshop just five days to transform the exterior of the 6.71 m Abbey Stafford GT, 5 berth Caravan, and with the help of a local sign writer the SOS roadshow was ready to roll.
Said Revive! managing director Mark Llewellyn: “We went to a charity event hosted by Save Our Soldier and were just blown away by the drive and dedication of these guys. Several of our franchisees and technicians are ex-servicemen and have first-hand experience of the trauma of active service. They’ve seen how it has affected their friends and colleagues which is why we wanted to do something positive to help this amazing charity.
“Painting vehicles is what we do, so when we heard about the plans for the mobile coaching unit we were only too happy to offer our assistance with a Vehicle Paint Repairer.”
The mobile coaching unit will enable SOS to take their coaching team around the country where they can help ex-servicemen and members of the emergency services suffering from post-traumatic stress injury to begin their journey towards a new and resourceful outlook.
When he collected the new look caravan SOS chief executive officer Lee Hayward said: “The charity can’t thank Revive! and their team of Vehicle Paint Repairers enough for making this possible. The caravan looks great and will help people know and learn about Save Our Soldier. It will be the first in the country and having a mobile unit will now allow us get help to people sooner than we could do before.”
