Jordan family dominates at Thruxton

Last weekend, Revive!-sponsored driver Andrew Jordan, alongside father Mike Jordan, won every race they competed in for the Mini 7 Racing Club at Thruxton Circuit.

The 2013 British Touring Car Champion is currently racing his third season in the Dunlop Mini Miglia Challenge after capturing the title in 2021. Meanwhile, his father Mike is competing in the Dunlop Mini Sevens Challenge.

We recently caught up with Andrew about the racing season.

Said Andrew: “It’s been a good season so far. I was obviously pleased to place 1^st and 3^rd in the first two rounds at Silverstone, and I’m even more pleased to have placed 1^st in both races at Thruxton.”

Andrew is currently placed ^7th overall among the Mini Miglias, having missed the rounds at Donington and Snetterton due to other commitments; though he has finished 1^st in three of the four races he has competed in so far.

Meanwhile, Andrew’s dad Mike Jordan – a former BTCC driver in his own right – is currently placed 1^st overall in the Mini Sevens, having placed 1^st in five of his seven races.

Andrew added: “The racing is always so close with the Minis, so it’s just fun to watch and even more fun to be a part of.”
