Revive! strengthens commitment to IMI standards through RWC Train to Gain CPD
Revive! Auto Innovations is introducing the RWC Train to Gain CPD programme across its nationwide network of Smart Repairers. Revive! currently has one of the largest fleets of IMI accredited technicians in the UK. The initial programme will consist of Revive! UK’s owned operations before expanding throughout the rest of the network
Revive! Auto Innovations is introducing the RWC Train to Gain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme within its owned operations as part of its continued commitment to technician development and the high standards represented by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) accreditations.
The programme will initially be launched within Revive!’s owned operations, allowing the business to assess the technician experience, operational benefits and overall effectiveness of the approach before considering a wider rollout across the Revive! franchise network.
The business operates one of the largest IMI-accredited networks of mobile technicians in the UK, supporting dealerships, fleet, lease and insurance companies and private motorists with SMART repair services.
“Revive! has always placed great importance on IMI accreditation and the standards it represents. commented Richard Graves QFP, Operations Director at Revive!
“Our technicians are central to the quality, consistency and confidence we provide to customers, franchisees and commercial partners, so it is vital that we continue to invest in their development,”
The introduction of RWC Train to Gain is designed to build on that commitment by moving from a re-exam at the end of the three-year accreditation cycle to a more structured CPD pathway. The programme gives technicians regular opportunities to refresh their knowledge, continue developing their skills and remain aligned with the standards expected of accredited automotive professionals.
Matt Mardel, Business Development Director for RWC Training commented: “RWC are proud to have a long-standing relationship with Revive! since we began our working partnership around 2010. We’re delighted to onboard Revive! onto our Train To Gain programme, that offers a great all-round solution to all types of repairers, for both static sites and mobile operations such as Revive!”
Delivered through live, interactive online sessions, the Train to Gain approach is intended to make continued professional development more accessible and easier to manage, while reducing unnecessary travel and operational disruption. For Revive!, the implementation of the RWC programme supports its focus on maintaining technical excellence, investing in its people and ensuring customers and commercial partners continue to receive repairs carried out to consistent, high-quality standards.
Revive! has a long-standing relationship with the IMI, having worked in partnership with the organisation for many years and previously helped launch the Cosmetic Repair Qualification in 2011.
“This is about strengthening our commitment to the IMI, supporting our team’s growth and development, and protecting the technical standards that Revive! is known for,” concluded Richard.
